We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an Inbound Transportation Booking Executive / Manager. With this position, you will be responsible for not only booking transportation but also handling logistic planning and supplier management. The position requires strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively within a team to ensure smooth operations for inbound tours.

  • Booking Coordination: Responsible for coordinating the booking of buses or other transportation services for inbound tours.
  • Supplier Management: Communicating with bus suppliers to negotiate rates, finalize bookings, and ensure service quality.
  • Logistics Planning: Working closely with tour planners and coordinators to ensure transportation needs align with tour itineraries and client requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of bookings, contracts, and correspondence with bus suppliers.
  • Problem Solving: Addressing any issues or discrepancies related to transportation arrangements promptly and efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Providing support to tour guides and clients regarding transportation logistics during tours.

  • Fluent/ business level in Japanese (N1) and English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in inbound tour operations, particularly in handling transportation logistics such as bus bookings, is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of local transportation regulations and networks is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Experience working in the hospitality industry is preferable.
  • Worked in a managerial position for 3 or more years (in any industry) for a manager position.

Salary and Benefits:
  • Monthly salary: ¥250,000 ~ ¥400,000 incl. overtime as per company policy. Salary will be determined based on experience and skills.

  • Work Hours and Days:
    • 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (with one hour break).
