The Kyushu Basho is one of the six annual grand tournaments of Sumo. With Fukuoka being the smallest city hosting the tournaments, locals are excited about the events and Sumo wrestlers seem to appear all around the town, from restaurants to bars. Things are a lot different in Tokyo, where people have an abundance of entertainment, sports and events year round, making Sumo just a drop in the bucket.
